    I get an errror when I try to add an SVG from the Media library, it says it’s not a valid SVG. (the file is in the link). The SVG is generated from Illustrator.

    What’s wrong with the SVG?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @audunmb,

    Sorry for the trouble. This notice can sometimes appear when comments have been added to the SVG file. In this case, the following is added at the top of the file:

    <!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2, SVG Export Plug-In . SVG Version: 6.00 Build 0)  -->

    If you open the original SVG file and remove that comment, and re-upload to your media library, you should be good.

    I will see if there is a way to automatically remove comments like this in a future version of the plugin.

    Let me know if you continue to experience issues.

    Best,
    Nick

    Edit: OK, the comment was the issue. A way to remove or ignore them will be great.

    Ahh good to know. I will see if there is a way to automatically remove this if present. Thanks for the follow up.

    Ok, sorry. I was a bit quick when editing the comment above. Seems like both the xml code and comments cause issues.
