not visible until I ‘Save Changes’

  • Is it normal behaviour that when I install the plugin the footer isn’t visible until I save settings?

    It depends on the active theme. Can I get a link to your site, so I can go look?

    Currently no new client project online. Just make a fresh WordPress install with the Genesis Sample Theme and add Genesis Simple Edits. You will see that the footer disappears.
