Not working

For the shortcode id I have tried “5” “post=5” and “post.php?post=5”
I’m using the ID of a post I created specifically to insert.
In every case the link is displayed with double underline and no plus sign, and the link itself takes the ID of the parent page, not the required post.
Please assist.
