Not working?

    Hi, I just installed and activated your plugin, but when I click on “Generate Newsletter Formatted Events” there is no output at all, neither in the “Result” nor in the “Result (HTML)” tab.

    My template is

    <h2>{event_image}{title}</h2>
<p>{category_links}</p>
<p>{start_date} @ {start_time} to {end_time} at {location_name}</p>
<p>{link}</p>
<hr />

    I am running WordPress 4.4.3 with a version of theme DW Minion and The Events Calendar version 4.1.0.1

    Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    Strange – if nothing appears this either means there are no events for the time selected, or possibly a conflict with another plugin or your theme. Have you tried increasing this to (say) 6 months to make sure there are events to pull in?

    If not, do you have a test site or ability to temporarily switch to a default theme like TwentySixteen and disable other plugins (apart from Event Calendar Newsletter and The Events Calendar) to see if that works? If it does, you can re-enable the other plugins one by one along with the theme to see which one is conflicting. Make sure you have backups of course in case a plugin deletes any data when deactivated.

    Hi Brian, sorry to let you know that your plugin just doesn’t work for me. I switched to twenty sixteen theme, deactivated all plugins except yours and the events calendar and still no success.

    Ok, now that’s super wired: the events show up when I choose “6 monts” in “Future Events to Use:”. Then all of them show suddenly up, also those for next week etc. This is behaviour seems to be independent of any theme or plugin i have activated.
    Any idea why this could be happening?

    Good to hear events do show up at some point! But if you pick (say) 1 week and there are events within the next week, nothing appears?

    If it’s possible to be added temporarily as an admin user on the site, I can take a quick look – ideally on a copy of the site with no other plugins installed: [email protected]
