Not working

    Using WP 4.7.5 with Mantra theme (Cryout Creations) 2.6.1 on a local install. It isn’t very big with only 4 pages and 9 posts. Still designing and testing.

    I installed wpDiscuz with a number of plugins active. I don’t want comments on my homepage, so did not select “Enable on home page”. I want any discussions to occur on my posts, only.

    Unfortunately, absolutely nothing is showing. Nothing. It’s as if the plugin isn’t installed. Comments are turned off for all pages. Comments are turned on for all posts.

    Troubleshooting 1 – 1) deactivated all plugins; 2) activated wpDiscuz. Nothing.

    Troubleshooting 2 – 1) all plugins deactivated; 2) changed to Twenty-Seventeen; 3) activated wpDiscuz. Nothing.

    Added a cache plugin, flushed the cache, deactivated that plugin and tried Troubleshooting 1 & 2, again. Still nothing.

    It isn’t WordPress. It isn’t the theme. It isn’t any other plugin. Any ideas?

    BOOM! Fixed. Turns out that comments were turned on after the few pages were published. So, all pages published before installing wpDiscuz had no available comment area for the plugin to work with.

    Works great with two minor issues we’re working on right this minute.

    Wonderful plugin! AND it has lots of customization. Hint, you might want to consider a user manual, though. I’d certainly volunteer to write it!!
