Not working

    I’m using a child theme and it doesnt seem to have a footer.php file

    Hello @motorcitypicturesdetroit,

    You do not have to edit the footer.php file.
    You have to go to your website > right click on it and select ‘View page source’ > search there for the text/html you want to remove and then copy it > and paste it in your dashboard > Tools > Remove footer credit > Step 1 > inside the field for step 2 enter your replacement for that html and text.

    The html you should add in Step 1 is this:

    <div class="site-info">
			Proudly powered by <a href="https://www.ads-software.com/">WordPress</a><br />
			Theme Kiyoshi by <a href="https://felixdorner.de" rel="designer">Felix Dorner</a>		</div>

    And replace the info in it with your own in step 2.
