• I can optimize an image one-by-one by it seems that mass image optimization is currently not working.

It just spins forever here, it’s been an hour already – https://prntscr.com/j181tg
If you click on optimize all images, I’m assuming it runs in the background so you don’t need to stay on that page?

Also, is there a way to remove original files so the server does not fill up?
If there is no way within the plugin, is there a way to locate all original files via ftp?

    Hello Ajia.im,

Which WP version are you using ?
You should enable logs in your reSmush.it plugin page, and paste here the content of the log file (in ~/resmushit.log).

    Best regards,
    Charles

It seems that it gets stuck after the first image.
    I’m using Version 4.9.5

    Hi Ajia,

Currently, you need to stay on the page to optimize all the picts, we’re planning to develop a new feature to make it run in background.

We discourage you to remove the original file, as if you change your optimization ratio, it won’t be able to optimize from the original file (hence, you risk to have pictures with a very poor quality)

The log file shows that everything seems to run normally, just be patient ??

    Cheers,
    Charles

It has been stuck on this page for 4 hours now…

I’m guessing that is not normal?

I left it on that page for 14 hours and it’s still spinning…

    Hi Ajia,

I think there’s something wrong in your PHP configuration. Maybe you should check your PHP Error file.

Check that CURL and fopen instruction are enabled.

    Cheers,
    Charles

My host has checked the configuration and PHP error file and did not find any errors.
I can also confirm that CURL and fopen are enabled.

Any other ideas by any chance?

    Hi Ajia,

If you’re using Chrome as Browser, open your console (see : https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/) and report us if you have any error in this console (written in red).

    Cheers,

    Hi Ajia,

Try to enable your PHP error log, as a 500 error, throw an error to your log except if log is totally disabled.

    Best regards,
    Charles

    No error is being thrown…
I guess it’s just not meant to be… Thanks for your support!
