I`m using the calendar on a blank page, but for some reason “&quot” and “&amp” are not working and are displayed as code. See in the titles of several events. Any option to adjust this?

    Thanks!

Which version of the plugin are you using? I was looking into a similar issue recently and I thought I had it resolved. If you’re not on the current version, please update (note that version 5.0 and later require WordPress 5.3). If you are on the current version and the problem is still occurring, let me know and I’ll investigate.

Follow up: I tested this with a Google Calendar feed on my test site with the latest version of the plugin, and it all seems to be working.

The one way I did get it to display the entities was if they were “double-encoded”… which does sometimes happen. In other words, I literally typed & amp; amp; rather than & amp;. You may want to check the raw source of your feed and see if the entities are encoded that way. If so, there’s not really anything I can do —?the plugin is functioning as intended.

(Note: I had to insert spaces in those codes to get this page not to decode the entities.)

THANK you very much for the fast support!

I’m using version 5.1.1 of the Plugin and latest WordPress version.

Concerning the raw source, this is a snippet of it that contains both & amp; and & quot; :

SUMMARY:Bundeswettbewerb "\;Fremdsprachen"\;: Klausurtag für Solo &\; Solo Plus

On the site, you can find this at January 29. From my understanding, this code seems to be fine, since ” and & are only included once – or am I wrong?

    Thanks!

Yes, it does seem like that should be working properly. Would it be possible for you to send me your exact shortcode from this page? You can send it to the email address on the plugin’s admin page if you don’t want to post it here. Thanks!

Thank you! I’ve figured out the problem.

The plugin was decoding HTML entities in the event descriptions, but not the event titles. I’ll be releasing version 5.2.1 later today which will include a fix for this.
