The plugin has 3 options for the order numbers counter – https://prnt.sc/o6OFHLfNdX9g which option do you want to use?

Do you want to reduce the order number width? Could you please elaborate this sentence[We want to reset the next order id to go back to 5 o t 6 characters.] a little bit more? So that I can assist you in a better way.

Thanks for the reply guys, the issue was caused by using the wpmerge plugin which adds 1000s of post ids for some reaons. We fixed it by manually deleting ids in the database so all good now.
