Not Working!

We saw that you reviewed us 1 star. You should have at least allow us 24 hours to reply to your issue. Sometimes there is minor mistake or glitch with what you are doing and it can be solved when discussed.

Anyways our slider have unique feature supporting variable width images and that is included in free version. We support only inbuilt wordpress post type and it is enough who needs a basic slider/carousel having variable width images.

It’s okay if you are happy with other plugin but please let us know if you would like to give an another try. We can help to resolve your issue.

This is still an issue. I just installed the plugin and I have a post under the category that I selected in the slider settings. I used the shortcode, and it simply says:

Warning: No posts found with selected settings

This is an error. There’s a post.

Okay, I fixed the issue myself.

Nowhere could I find that the plugin requires you to use the featured image. I was lead to believe I could provide my content in the post_content.

I edited the plugin myself to use content instead of the featured image, as the featured image does not provide a way to use an up-to-date external url.

Can you let me know how you did this? It’s exactly what I need to have too. The slider only being able to show featured images, not just content on a tagged post, is a real problem.

…I’m having to create loads of separate hidden posts all with a different featured image to use on the main page slider!!

That said, the variable width ability of this plugin is awesome and seems to be the best out there for that, so it gets 5 stars for that alone, just hope I can edit it as above.

Would you please let us know what you mean content of post instead of featured image ? Do you mean to use actual text content of post or first image from the post content ?

Hello, not text content but any images other than Featured Images e.g. you could have a post with multiple images in it, or a page with several photos …any way of getting images onto the slider without them having to be a post’s Featured Image first?

I don’t have any posts on my site and so I’m having to create dozens of separate blank posts just so I can give each one a different Featured Image as a post header, to get each image onto the slider …it’s a bit of a long-winded workaround.

If that can’t be done then your mention of displaying the first image from a post would be better – is that possible?

We are thinking to use wordpress inbuilt gallery shortcode to use our slider, that means you will be able to create slider using wordpress inbuilt gallery feature. I think this will solve your issue.

You can expect this in next release but currently we don’t have any specific date for next release.

any news here? I was really happy to finally find a slider with variable widths, would be even happier if images didn′t have to be featured images ^^
