I recently changed the permalink structure for the posts on my website to the following: /%postname%-%post_id%/

Ever since then, the [site.com]/links page goes to 404 error. I thought the permalink change just affects posts and thought /links was a page. Is there a possible fix to this so that I’m able to keep the social page on [site.com]/links ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

It doesn’t seem like it first, but the bio link page is internally handled as a post by WordPress. Any permalink changes will therefore also affect the URL of your bio link page.

For now, you have three options:

    • Change your permalink settings back to /%postname%/.
    • Access your bio link page via the plain URL format, for e. g. [site.com]/?cms-landingpages=links.
    • Access your bio link page via your configured permalink, which would be [site.com]/links-52704 in your case. You could also set up a redirect from [site.com]/links to [site.com]/links-52704.

If there’s anything more we can help you with, please let us know.

    With kind regards
