Hi team, until few days back, this plugin was working fine. We are using it since years. When we wanted to check if its working or not, we used to check at wpthemedetector. com. It was unable to detect any plugins on our sites. But not anymore!! Maybe, since last updates, all our sites are exposed and shows every plugins, themes we are using. Please help us.

    Hi,
It’s likely that as you continue to add more plugins, they are now being detected by wpthemedetector.com. Alternatively, it’s possible that you haven’t configured the plugin correctly.

Could you please provide the site URL so we can investigate further from our end?

Please note that while the free version of WP Hide can conceal elements for basic websites, for more complex applications such as WooCommerce or Elementor, you’ll require the PRO version to fully mask all traces.

    Thanks

@tdgu Hi, we are not using WooCommerce, Elementor. We haven’t added any new plugins since year. So I think This is happening after recent updates only.

    Hi,
I still need a URL to check from this side, why the detector see the plugins on your site.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    There’s your problem:

    2024-03-27-14h33-31

You use the WP Rocket with the minification/combine function active. When doing so, that cache plugin re-constructs the same path inside a /cache/ folder. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to change these paths or the plugin will not be able to understand the structure.

So, it’s not a plugin issue but a configuration on your site, which you probably changed recently.

    Thanks

@tdgu Ok, but we didn’t change any settings. Can you tell what can be done? It was working fine few days ago even that time minification/combine function was active.

The HTML clearly show the plugins names and the theme. De-activate the WP Rocket with the minification/combine and you will be fine.
Or ask at WP Rocket if there is a way to anonymize their cached files.

    Thanks
