Not working – API error and/or wrong url

  • Throws out an error on the first use trying to transfer http while its a https domain. This seems to happen often but no solution gets posted and the support is quite on this. This sucks as first impression.
    I used migrate plugins before without the need to do the following:
    – disabled any Cloudflare firewall rule
    – disabled Plesk web application firewall
    – removed htaccess security tweaks
    – removed plesk wordpress security tweaks
    The plugin seems to not being able to create and save the encrypted archive because the folders get created but not the archive. Yeah so pretty fail as the help center on siteground for this topic. You are not able to submit a ticket for any migrate topic.

    I am newish to WordPress, so apologise for posting here, but I couldn’t find where to post.

    This morning I found I could not log in to my wordpress site…
    This message appeared:

    This site can’t be reached (name)  refused to connect.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

    When I Google my website name, I received this:
    Something Went Wrong
    Looks like this domain’s DNS hosting service has expired. If you are the administrator for this domain, please log into your DNS Made Easy account and renew your services. If you do not have a DNS Made Easy account, please contact your hosting provider.

    Question: how do I recover my site?
    (current domain hosting service person is very unwell…so I may not hear from him… ??. )
