    Hello,

I am using the YITH filter plugin but it’s not working as it expected to be. I toggled the multi selection choice but I can only select one and then all other filters dissapear. Also it should only show the filters with attributes related to the product category I am on, but also that it doesn’t work as I hoped.

For example I have 10+ different product categories and if I click on one category for example T-Shirts. It should only show the filters ‘Color’ and ‘Size’ because those are the only 2 attributes from that category. But if someone clicks on for example ‘Phone’ then they have to get different ones ‘Size’ for example should not show. Because if all the filters show on all the product category pages then it’s gonna be a mess with 200 filters.

    Kind Regards,
    Bas

    Hello Bas,

    I hope you’re doing well :D.

Please, could you share with us a page where we can make some test and try to understand the problem?

    I’m looking forward your response.

    Have a good day.

    Hello,

For example here: https://iear.nl/audio-en-hifi/vinyl/platenspeler-element/ they have filters on the left that are only for that category called ‘Platenspeler-element’

but on other pages they have other filters that are only for the category page that you are on.

@crodriguez1991 I want to know if this is also possible with you guys plugin and if so, how?

Also when I toggle the multi selection choice, I can still only select one and then all other filters dissapear when you should be able to select mutliple right?

    Hello there,

If you want to set filters for specific pages, you’ll need to create one preset for each page. In this way, when you visit the page, only the filters you select will be applied to the page.

This is the only way you can use with our plugin in order to have dedicated filters on specific pages.

    I hope it helps you.

    Have a good day.

@crodriguez1991 That’s fine but how do I load them on only that page?

    Hello there!

To load the different presets on different pages you can add them by the unique shortcode that is created for each preset, as you can see here.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a nice day!

@vanesarodriguez I add my filters in the widgets, if I add all those filters to the widgets, will they then show on all pages? Cause there is only 1 ‘WooCommerce Shop Sidebar’ or do I have to make a seperate widget per category?

Also on the general shop page where all the products is they will then show 200 filters right?

    Hello!

Yes, you would have to add each preset to each widget (for each category page).
So each category page would have it’s own filter preset.

Also on the general shop page where all the products is they will then show 200 filters right?

You can show all of the filters (i.e. categories) by the “Auto-populate with all terms” or disable that option an enter the specific filters you’d like to display.

I hope this information was helpful.
    Have a nice day!
