Not working at all after initial install

I just installed Easy Fancybox on a development site I’m working with to redesign the site for a local nonprofit with high hopes, but it’s not working on any of our links – .pdf, .swf, iframe. I first used the default autodetect setting, then added the fancybox class to the links when the autodetect didn’t work. Nothing. It’s as if I hadn’t installed the plugin. I did install the Use Google Libraries plugin. Currently using the “discover” theme but will be changing that soon, so if it’s the theme, maybe we’re in luck, or maybe I added the class to the links incorrectly?
