Not working with BuddyPress 1.7 (Beta)

Did you get a chance to look into this problem?
I have the same issue.

I’m using the latest version of buddypress 1.7.1 and although I change the text in the ‘Emails’ it keeps sending the default ones.

Someone sent me a fix on github but I haven’t released an update yet

Could you give us the edit or are u planning on updating the plugin soon?

I have recently decided to mark the threads as resolved once I have sent an initial reply; plus I only got home from a couple weeks’ worth of travelling yesterday.

Any chance there might be an update on the Welcome Pack plugin? I went onto Github and tried to implement the changes, but with no success (of course, I am by no means a PHP guru!)

I would be willing to pay for a version of this plugin, as long as it’s functioning, as it is integral to the roll out of a redesign of a website that’s going live in two weeks.

I will send a personal message as well, but hoping to hear from you soon!

I just tried the version you provided, but it seems that the email are still sent with the original text no matter the customization through ‘Settings>Emails’.

Is there a plan for an update on the plugin?

No plans to update.

That’s really bad! Your plugin is truly amazing. It’s a shame that you won’t update.

In any case, thank you for the heads up. We’re going live in 2 weeks, so I’ll try to find another solution.

Simply download this file and replace the appropriate files (after backing up of course). It now works like a charm.
