Using this plugin, a parent selecting option appears for the posts and it is working fin. But it is not working for custom post types created using Custom Post Type UI plugin.

There is an option in the settings page to give the custom post types name, I have given there my custom post type name. But the parent selecting option is not appearing in the custom post type add/edit page. Any solution to this?

I got the solution. In the custom post type UI page, I selected my custom post type. Then updated the Hierarchical to True and in the Supports section, I enabled the Page Attributes. That’s all.

    Good to hear.

Hi, I’m also having this issue. I’m using the WP Event Manager plugin and want to make certain entries as child events to a parent event.

The plugin is working on standard posts but not the Event post type.

    Any ideas?
