    Hi,

I managed to get this working in the Address Autofill section on the page noted yesterday.

Today however it only works when I’m in WordPress Dashboard viewing it (in Microsoft Edge), and does not work in different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera or IE) on desktop but also does not work when using on a mobile view.

Can anyone help me fix this or signpost me please?

I’ve got the google api key setup, got a billing account with them etc. so that end is fine I believe.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Tim

    Hi,

    Many thanks for replying.

The autofill address bar on this page in ‘Address – AutoFill*’:

    https://findgyms.co.uk/gym-registration/

This works when I’m logged into WordPress and view my page there.

However, when logged out of wordpress and in all other browsers that I use (I.E, Chrome, Firefox, Opera & Edge) the auto function feature does not work, as in no predictions come up.. you just type in text like in all the other fields.

I struggle to understand why it works when logged into wordpress and view it, but does not work for anyone else in any other browser if not logged into my wordpress.

I have followed the instructions in your URL link and still the same issue.

I don’t know how to screen record and share with you sorry.

I hope this makes more sense?

    Thanks,

    Tim

    I’ve found the issue mate!

I deactivated all plugins then reinstalled one by one to see if an issue lay with a plugin, it did!

I’m with SiteGround for hosting, they automatically put in a plugin called ‘SG Optimizer’. This has caused me a bunch of issues already so I’m not surprised it’s this.

With this deactivated, the autocomplete function works on every browser when not logged in.

I imagine you stand more of a chance of understanding why this is than me, I would be very interested to know if you find out!

    Cheers,

    Tim
