• It’s showing up for individual posts and pages, but adding noindex for taxonomies isn’t showing up.

I’m sorry for the delayed reply. Taxonomies can be controlled from the main settings page – Settings > Meta Tag Manager.

You can limit tags to show up for one or more pages, posts, cpts, taxonomies etc. from there.

I will however add a note to implement the editor on individual taxonomies, since I can see where the confusion arose.

The issue is that I’ve added Tags in the settings page (“Where to display this tag”), but looking at page source for tag archives, nothing shows up for Meta Tag Manager.

I tested this out and it works ok for me.

Could it be that you have caching enabled via a plugin or your server?

Also, have you tried testing with other plugins disabled and/or your theme?

I use WP Super Cache – turning that off and changing to Twenty 15 doesn’t help.

It works for individual pages that have been cached, but it doesn’t work on any archive page.

Did you try turning off other plugins?

If you could give me the exact tag you’re trying to add (i.e. a screenshot) maybe that’ll help.

Wait… I think i’ve reproduced it, bear with me.

Nope it was a plugin conflict, so please see earlier comment ??

Conflict with which plugin? I can’t actually afford to turn off any plugins I have running.

I can appreciate that. Unfortunately I can’t reproduce it myself, so there’s not much I can do without that, and one of the debugging steps would be to rule out any possible conflict, meaning disabling ALL other plugins and/or switching the theme too. The only other solution is to duplicate your site and try it on there.

In my case, my own plugin (Events Manager) was conflicting with the tags archive, due to some fancy formatting stuff I do to tag pages, turning that fancy formatting off fixes the problem for me.
