Not working in ie8 – (corp intranet, sorry)

  • Hi,

    Can you tell me how to get this working in IE8? This is for a corporate intranet site where some of the computers run ie8. Browser displays error when upvote is clicked. The browser seems to have a problem with the dot syntax after the selector (.vortex-p-like-counter.): jQuery(‘.vortex-p-like-counter.’+id);

    I already tried escaping the selectors jQuery(‘.vortex-p-like-counter\\.’+id);
    Any help appreciated.

  • Hi, guys,,,I installed your plugin and it was working fine on localhost,,,but when I installed on live server, having activated this plugin,,, I clicked on Plugin link which I was getting on side navigation bar,,,it open but on the plugin page I was not getting anything blank page…and before downloading this theme it shows that it is compatible to your version…..help me I like this plugin and I want to use this…please help me….

    What?So do you see the Rating System in Menu sidebar below Settings?If yes when you click it what happens?Any error message?

    Hi, First Thank you very much for this quick reply…Yes I am able to see Rating System in sidebar menu below setting option, after clicking on Rating system link I am getting a page where I am getting tab and it has 4 links 1.) setting for the post and page, 2) setting for comment, 3.) translation, 4.) documentation but here is a problem that in each tab I getting nothing only blank grey page…..so the troubleshooting which I did,,,I uninstalled the plugin and installed again, the I turned off my all plugin which I am using but it did not work,,,then I changed my theme even though it did not work…..but it is working fine on localhost,,,,,,that is the reason I liked very much this plugin……help me if possible for you I would rely appreciate this help…..thanks….

    What version of php do you run on the live server?you can use this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-php-info/

    Hi, The php version which I am using on live server that 5.4….an the wordpress dashboard Image which you have send me,,,my error is like this….in you error Image input box and check box are visible but in my error except 4 tab link nothing is visible……

    Also on the live server after you disable all plugins in your wp-config.php look for define('WP_DEBUG', false); and change it todefine('WP_DEBUG', true); navigate back to the rating-system page and look for warnings or errors

    Hi, When I logged to my Dashboard I got the update of Your Plugin so I updated that, after updating it started working ?? but when I went on front page to see that how it is working,,,,,,I getting the null value when I am liking any post……help me…

    Can you also test for posts?

    No With post it is working fine…..I am having problem with buddypress…
