Not Working in PHP 5.4

    Hi,

    I’ve had this plugin working fine on one of my websites for over a year however upon upgrading PHP to 5.4 (other plugins on the site require PHP 5.4) it now causes the site to stop loading. I’ve disabled the plugin which brings everything back so I’m pretty sure it’s related to this plugin.

    Can you confirm whether it’s been tested with PHP 5.4?

    Hi James,
    I can’t think of any reason why this doesn’t work with PHP 5.4 although I haven’t tested with this version specifically. Did you find anything in your error logs? The plugin uses DOMDocument, is it possible that this wasn’t present in your PHP installation?

    Thanks for the reply, I’ve just checked the PHP configuration and that plugin is indeed installed on the account and appears to be working. Any other ideas as to the cause of the problem?

    Hi James,
    Not really, other than checking the PHP logs to find out what’s causing the plugin to crash the site.

    Just to let you know it appears that the Domdocument module wasn’t loaded correctly for the version of PHP running on the server. Re-loaded the module and all seems well now.

    You’re welcome – thanks for reporting back! I’ll see if I can prevent the absence of Domdocument from crashing the plugin.
