  • Hey there ivanvash,

    How are you doing today?

Would you mind posting link to your site where I can see this so I can try to test it out?

    Cheers,
    Bojan

I’m having the same problem – it goes away OK for a while, but when I come back to the site (say, the next day) it’s back ??

I’ve never really done any work with cookies – I assume this is setting one. What’s the nature of the cookie, and is it associated with my domain or is it a ‘third party’ one?

    The site is:
    https://millergreen.co.uk/

    Thanks.

    Hey guys ??

@ivanvash I can see that there are some JS errors in the console so this could possibly be preventing plugin from working properly. Could you please test for conflicts by temporarily using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

@wwwolf yes the info is stored in a browser cookie. The duration should be defined in the plugin, I’ve checked the one on your site and everything seems to be in order, as you can see the cookie should expire sometimes next year https://screencast.com/t/iUq9Si2x.

However, using another browser / incognito mode or simply clearing browser cache and cookies will reset that if that makes sense.

    Best regards,

I cleared the console but it did not help, and I do not have the possibility to disable all plugins and theme as a living site, all options are on the local computer. What can I do to “never show this message again” to work correctly?

    Hey again ivanvash,

In case that you have staging site on local install (basically a copy of your site for testing purposes) and you still have these issues you can do the conflict testing there.

It’s really hard to say what specifically is causing popup not to work properly unless conflict test is being done.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
