not working on category pages.

I have a category page customized, it works there, but on another category page the modifications i make don’t show up. They get saved and everything, but the default widgets appear in the front-end. If I remove everything, the fron-end updates, but if I add anything to it, the default widgets appear again. Doesn’t matter what I add.
