Not Working on Flywheel nginx Webhosting

Love this security plugin and have used it successfully on a couple of different WP webhosting that use apache.

I just tried implementing this plugin on a new WP install on Flywheel webhosting (https://getflywheel.com/), which uses nginx, but haven’t been able to get the plugin function correctly.

I’ve tried the lite mode and custom mode setting and I see the same faulty behavior. When I try the new URLs for wp-admin and wp-login.php, the plugin sends me immediately to the 404 page — so I can’t login. I have to use the “safe link” to get back into the admin area.

Would appreciate your insights and suggestions for identifying the root cause of the problem.
