I just did an upgrade to the latest version, but now the grid is not working at all on my blog page: https://www.jacktummers.nl/blog/

Before it worked, but the only thing that was not working was the first full width post.

Its the same issue for me. The Grid was working on eleven40 theme but is no longer working after the upgrade.

    Did someone find any fix?

I have also tried it on modern portfolio but it is not working. It appears that the upgrade has a conflict or something with these themes.

I almost giving up to try work Grid in Genesis, i found this website that teach how to do, so i think it is the only way ‘for now’ cause plugins not work fine: https://wpsites.net/?s=grid

The change in 1.3 is to make the grid loop only show up on the ‘main loop’ . Previous versions would apply to any custom loops as well, including page templates and the Featured Post widget.

I’ve looked at the eleven40 theme and it is using a custom loop for the homepage. The solution is to rename or delete the home.php file from your theme.

If you’re using another theme and having similar issues, you should try this as well.

Dynamic Website Builder is only using a front-page.php which is used for its custom homepage, but the blog page is the regular blog template that comes with Genesis, but the Grid is not working within that template. It did… but not anymore.

Never use the blog page template in Genesis.

Go to Settings > Reading and set your blog page as the one that has posts.

    Hi there.

I’m also using Modern Blogger Pro child theme and experienced the problem after the recent plugin upgrade. (Was working perfectly on blog page Featured Post widget before).

I’ve renamed the home.php to front-page.php and am using the reading settings as per recommendation (front page: Home, posts page: Blog). I’ve also removed the blog and archive templates, and the blog is now working like a dream on the Blog page. So thanks so much for your posts Bill, they’ve been really helpful and simple to implement.

One thing I’m not sure how to sort out now is how to get the grid to work on the Featured Posts widget on the home page??

    Cheers.

[*correction! – where I said “blog is now working like a dream on the Blog page” I meant to say “grid is now working like a dream on the Blog page”*]

    Hi Bill,

I’m also using Dynamik Website Builder and the loop doesn’t work. I’ve followed your instructions (rename home.php to front-page.php, set home page with page that has posts) but still no grid…

Is this plugin compatible with Dynamik Website Builder?

    Thanks
