Not working on iPhone

    The cookie consent banner/popup is unclickable when viewed on any iPhone. Visitors can not click the “Accept” button or click any of the links in the cookie banner. Works on Desktop and Android. I have tried using the banner and pop up as an option. Both with the same results.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Update: I have this plugin installed on 4 different websites, all different themes and types of websites. Does not work on 3 out of the 4 websites. Can not click on any links, boxes, or buttons on the cookie bar if viewing on a iPhone.

    UPDATE: The cookie banner on iPhone does not work on all of the websites im using it on using the WPTouch plugin. It will work on iPhone if I disable the plugin. Cookie Banner can not be clicked on, all buttons and links are disabled while using the WPTouch plugin on iPhone only.

    The plot thickens. Any help appreciated. Please, please, please. Have 4 websites with this problem.

Works on Desktop and Android. I have tried using the banner and pop-up as an option. Both with the same results. I am using the WPTouch mobile plugin on all of the websites.

    It will work on iPhone if I deactivate the WpTouch plugin. Unfortunately, this makes the websites look horrible on iPhones. Cookie Banner can not be clicked on, all buttons and links are unresponsive while using the WPTouch plugin on iPhone only.

    Desperately need help on this issue.

    Still unresponsive on iPhone. Again, this is in conjunction with the wp touch plugin, which I need for mobile friendly version of the website.

    Is there a script I can add to the WP Touch plugin which will allow the functionality of the cookie bar?

    bump! Still not working on iPhones. Works on everything else. Using WP Touch plugin for mobile.

    Anybody, anything? Installed on 4 different websites, added to a 5th this morning for curiosity……….all with the same results. Does not work on iPhones. I’m driving people crazy by asking them to visit all these websites to test the cookie banner.

    Hi @badgoat,

    Thanks for your patience. We debugged your site and found the issue is with the below CSS code added by the WP Touch plugin.

    .slideout-panel{position:relative;z-index:1;will-change:transform}

    It will work on iPhone by removing the will-change: transform from the above code.

    Since it is not our plugin, we cannot provide help in editing the code. So we recommend you to contact WP touch plugin and inform them of this and they can assist you.
