You sent be the link, I was able to check on Windows/Chrome and look at the sources and pictures:
– The favicon appears correctly on Chrome
– HTML code and pictures look fine
– The checker (https://realfavicongenerator.net/favicon_checker) gives positive results.
The code produced by RFG was successfully tested on Mac/Chrome (see https://realfavicongenerator.net/favicon_compatibility) so an issue here is unlikely.
Maybe your Chrome tricks you? For example, if you accessed the site a first time before the favicon was installed, Chrome may consider that “there is no favicon” and now it can’t change its mind. My tips, pick the one that fits best:
– Try with another Mac. If you have another one.
– Clear your cache.
– Press F5. A lot.
– Access https://yoursitehere.com/favicon.ico and https://yoursitehere.com/favicon-32×32.png just to make sure Chrome knows there are here and work.
Does this help?
