Not working on Multisite with Subfolder Sub site

    I have a multisite where I want to password protect one of the sub sites and they are set up using the subfolder method (so the site is the main domain plus “/jp/”). I tried password protecting just the new subsite (activated only on the subsite), but it doesn’t seem to work. It just continually prompts me to enter the password and I never get past that screen. I think it’s something to do with the cookie looking like it’s on the main domain, yet the plugin treating it as its own sub site. I’m not sure. That’s just a guess.

    I am on WP Engine and I had them exclude the bid_2_password_protected_auth cookie as recommended, but it’s not working for the subsite.

    I’m just wondering if anyone else got this working, or if there is a trick to get it working.
