  • Yes,

Some smart phones it works, but I am pretty sure that iPhone is broken.

I am still seeking an answer to this.

I have an Android 4.2 phone. I know it’s really hard to achive, I wrote just to let you know. Thanks for your work!

    Hi there

I have solved the problem on iPhone by applying this CSS:

    img { -webkit-touch-callout: none; }

This prevents the ‘Save Image’ popup from being displayed when you touch and hold an image.

    ??

Wonderful. I will add this to the plugin.

    Hi kpgraham

Did this extra feature get added to the plugin yet ?

I have not had time to work on any of my plugin for about a year. My new job and a dose of cancer have kept my otherwise engaged. I would not hold my breath waiting.

    Hi Keith

Thanks for your quick reply, and sorry to hear about your ill health. ??

And just a suggestion, but did you consider putting your plugin up for adoption ?

    Best wishes.

I’d be willing to put that in, without actually taking over the plugin.

    Topher,

I’ve added you as a committer.

Give it a shot – don’t forget to bump up the version and change the readme to reflect your involvement.

One issue that I haven’t played with is enqueuing the script using https. It breaks on https sites and should use the wordpress script enqueue functions instead of a script tag. See what you can do.
