    It seems the theme or plugin you are using is not up-to-date with the latest Google Maps api; you need an apikey if you want to use Google Maps on your site. Contact the vendor/developer about this problem.

    I am using an api key and have activated and tried multiple. I have inserted the key into the correct place for my theme, and ensured that it matched the key put into the settings of this plugin. Where does that leave us?

    If your theme has an option for it and it still does not work, you should contact the theme developer.
