    Hi there!

This plugin was working great until about a week ago. At that point it stopped reporting any data. I’m not sure what to do or what would’ve caused it. Any ideas? Is there a way I can tell if the code is installed correctly from the source code?

Also you’ll notice that I do have a cache plugin installed now, but the Enhanced Ecommerce reporting plugin stopped working before I installed that.

    My original settings:
    Set Domain Name: auto
Add Global Site Tracking Code ‘gtag.js’ (Optional): unchecked (I have Google Analytics Dashboard for WP installed and tracking the regular Google Analytics stuff)
Add Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking Code: checked
Add Code to Track the Login Step of Guest Users (Optional): checked
    Impression Threshold: 6

    Things I’ve tried changing:
Set Domain Name: changed to my domain name without https://
    Impression Threshold: changed to 3
I also tried checking the global site tracking code but have unchecked it now

    Thanks for your help!
    Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

    Thank you for contacting us!

You have already given the answer in your query that you haven’t enabled “Add Global Site Tracking Code ‘gtag.js’“.

We have changed our implementation from old GA tracking method (analytics.js) to new GA tracking method (gtag.js). Our plugin is also doing the basic GA tracking like pageviews FYI.

Kindly go through the FAQs of our plugin & other support thread queries for more information.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards,

Thanks for your super quick reply. I will re-check that then and keep an eye on it to see if it starts working. But will that interfere with the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP plugin? I like that one for the quick views on the dashboard. Or are they compatible with each other?

Also you might want to change the little toolip on that Admin page then because it says that we don’t need to enable it if we have a 3rd party analytics plugin and I thought that meant that if we have another plugin tracking our regular analytics already that we didn’t need to check this.

    Thank you again!

    Hi,

After adopting gtag.js approach, we do not recommend to use other analytics plugins not because it is not compatible with them but they are still using old Tracking method analytics.js which resulted in data discrepancy in your GA account.

If GADWP will provide the support of gtag.js in the future then you can again use both together.

    Regards,

@tatvic and @sitesforchrist GADWP already supports the Global Site Tag (gtag.js).
