Not working – too many deletions

    Just thought I post a quick comment as I wanted to test this plugin which sounded great. I will not leave a bad review as I think this plugin is brand new but clearly requires more development.

    I’ve just tested it on my site. I thought that maybe 5% of wrong media would be deleted which would be an acceptable error rate but I actually noticed that 95% of my site media have been deleted including the logo!

    Thanks to your recovery feature, I’ve managed to restore everything of course.

    Hello,

    Mmm, actually the logo is a tricky part. The logo, in many cases, cannot be detected as used. If technically there is a way to do it, I would, of course.

    What were the other kind of images which were marked as to be deleted but were in used?

    Honestly, almost all images of the websites so it would be too long to quote. I haven’t seen any issues with the PDFs though althoug I am not sure the useless pdf were deleted.

    Those images were linked to what in general? Used how? In a gallery plugin, in your theme? Or simply referenced in posts?
