  • Hi Soffia,

Deactivate the plugin causing the /feed/ URL to be redirected to Feedburner, and see if that works. It latches on to the feed URL itself and adds the images to the output, and that plugin can interfere with it doing this.

Always make sure your raw feed works first, then see if Feedburner picks up the images from the raw feed.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Hi Rob,

Thanks, deactivating the FD Feedburner Plugin did make the images show up in https://soffiawardy.com/feed/, however they show up twice? Then I tried to re-enable the FD Feedburner Plugin and images disappeared all together?

Yes you can’t use that plugin as it overrides the feed generation. You can add an RSS icon and manually link to Feedburner, but it’s best not to redirect your /feed/ as Feedburner is not used as much anymore, most people prefer to use their own feed reader such as Feedly.

If images are showing twice, it’s because you have them set as a Featured Image, and also have them inserted in the body. Delete them from the body, and be sure your theme outputs the Featured Image of the post instead, so you don’t need it in the body at all. Sometimes it’s a checkbox in the theme options, other times the theme doesn’t use Featured Images at all, and you’d need to customize or update the theme.
