update: Nope, not working on live site, either. No matter what I try with this plugin, the upload path stays at default.

Did you check the front or the back-end html code? It will only apply on front side, to prevent certain media JavaScript issues. Also remember it does not not actually rename any directory within your server, it’s just map the urls.

sterndata (Steve Stern) usually such issues require actual access to files, why off-line support isn’t allowed?

I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Thanks for the clarification, i was somehow aware of not asking credentials, which i think i didn’t ?? but i agree my text was not the best, possible ambiguous.
That’s a very good point, good to know that i possible become liable for any damages once i get a login. I usually require a site back-up so i can debug on my local ratter a login.
But i’am still interested on a way to continue helping peoples, asking for back-up to a private e-mail is something which would break any rules on this forum?

    Thanks.
