Not working with bbPress forum site

When activated, the last few updates add this code at the top of every page, back- and front-end:

So of course I have deactivated it for now.

??? Can you figure out what the conflict might be? BTW it works perfectly at a related site running WP 4.7.7, the same child theme and Easy Digital Downloads 2.8.11.

Hi @type-historian,

It’s related to an issue in previous versions. Please update WP Super Cache to the latest version ( 1.5.8 ). Before plugin activation, you should fix file wp-content/wp-cache-config.php (You need FTP access). The fastest way is removing this file (in this case all settings will reset to defaults).

I deleted the wp-cache-config.php file and the plugin itself. Then I installed a fresh copy of it.

Now it works perfectly!
