    Hello everyone.

The front-end profile page is not working with “Better Notifications for WordPress” plugin, could you guys give me a hand?

When i change a user password or email it should send me a notification but it′s not working using the front-end edit profile page.

    Hi @mich3lang3lo,

This was recently reported via the BNFW Support Forums here.

I have it on my roadmap to investigate in an upcoming release but in the meantime, if @cozmoslabs are able to shed any light on this thread, that would be helpful too.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi @mich3lang3lo and @voltronik,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When a user changes his email address in the Edit Profile form Profile Builder will send the default WordPress Email notification.

Changing the password in the Edit Profile form will not notify the user.

I would like to know if you receive all other emails sent by Profile Builder? If you register a user by using the Default WordPress Registration form (wp-login.php) do you receive the email notification?

    Best regards,

    Hi @teodor-cosofret,

The issue the other BNFW user was having was when trying to reset a password on a page with the [wppb-recover-password] shortcode.

Not sure if this is the same issue or a separate one.

    Hi @teodor-cosofret,

When a user changes his password or email in the [wppb-edit-profile] Page the administrator never receive a email notification about the change, is this the default behaviour?

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi,

When resetting the password by using the Recover Password form the user should receives 2 notifications: one that contains a link to the reset password form and the second one which is a success notification.

The Admin should receive a notification when a user reset the password.

It doesn’t work on your domain?

    Best regards,

    Hi @teodor-cosofret,

In my case i am not using the recover password form, if the user needs to change the password he need to log in and change it in the page builder profile page, if he doesn′t know the password he can email me and i reset it, almost all my users don′t have an email, that′s why is very important to me to track any change in the account.

    Thanks for the help

    Mike
