Not working with custom taxonomy

  • I had it working until I added a custom taxonomy now it stopped working. It is the top search bar in header above navigation. I can not even get the standard WordPress search to work on this page, which is in the sidebar, but the standard WordPress search works on the other pages which are not in my custom post type, expertsguide.

    Hi,

    I’m not entirely sure, but I think there might be some sort of conflict with category exclusions. I see you have a few post categories excluded, can you please try to re-set those (on the Advanced Options panel)?

    Let me know if that changes anything.

    I added all the excluded categories back in and it worked but I do not want those searched if at all possible. I do not get the images which are in the acf field of expert_img though.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback. I might know what causes the category issue, it is a programatical error. I believe ACF fields store the image ID instead of the URL, that might be the issue with that.

    I believe both of these were already fixed within the pro version, so I will cross check the codes, and release an update as soon as I can. Thank you again for letting me know.
