Today i discovered the plugin prevent Firefox users with Ad block/Privacy protection activated from accessing your site. So i adjust my review from 1 to 5 stars.

    Compliments for the creator.

The new Firefox comes with Ad block/Privacy protection. Ad block has become default.

This plugin failed to prevent Firefox 42.0 users from accessing my content.

  • Hi,
    Where did you read this?

Does Do Not Track block ads?

No, you will still see ads with Do Not Track enabled. However, Do Not Track may change the type of ads you see. For example, behavioral ads are targeted to your interests based on the websites you visit and the search terms you use. If you request that websites Do Not Track you, and the sites respect your privacy preferences, you will see more generic ads in place of behavioral ads.

Does the plugin really deserve a single star for that?

I did not read this, i’ve experienced this on 4 computers and a mac. As explained, the tracking protection in private browsing is by default activated (In most cases, some it’s deactivated).

The tracking protection in private browsing blocks AdSense, do your homework mister. AdSense support even confirmed.

Does the plugin really deserve a single star for that? Are you serious, last thing you shouldn’t do as author/creator is asking this. It’s not done.

Based on my user experience, it didn’t do what it promised. So, one star my friend. You get 5 stars upon it blocks Firefox users with tracking protection in private browsing activated.

    “Do your homework mister”? Really?

@heathcliff2013 A one star review is fine and if I were the author I wouldn’t worry about it. People do read these reviews and make up their minds.

If you do want to continue to leave reviews in these forums please try and maintain a civil tone. That, or you can demand a refund for this free plugin that cost you nothing. That’s an option too.

    Thanks for your intervention @jdembowski

I think I won’t take on my free time to “solve” this issue whereas it only concerned people who are not using an adblock software on Firefox 42.0 in private browsing…
If it had been asked nicely, I probably would have done.

@jan Dembowski if someone can’t take a honest opinion, well that’s not my problem. It’s really sad how you guys handle true criticism.

I′ve removed the plugin upon i′ve posted my review, don’t you worry about me having expectations that you are doing about this or not.

You are missing the point here:
    – I took my FREE time to install the plugin to try it out (if there was a payed version of it, i would buy it… if it would work)
    – I took my FREE time to post a review to let the author know what is going on
    – FireFox is the 3rd most popular used browser globally, with the tracking protection in private browsing 6 out of 10 FireFox User is activated by default. Let me quote @jan Dembowski “I were the author I wouldn’t worry about it”.

Instead of wanking, be professional and show some appreciation. That’s the definition of being civil, instead how i have to communicate @jan Dembowski.

Yeah, i am not going to repeat myself again.

If you like it or not, your plugin didn’t work. I was able to browse through my sites with the new Firefox, while the ads were not displayed.

    Now you know, good luck.
