    Yes the CSS is out of date now for Genesis sites using HTML 5 tags.

    If you don’t mind editing the CSS included with the plugin you can change the tags to make it work.

    For example #header for header

    It will be overwritten when the plugin is updated though unless you use your child theme style.css file.
