Not working with my own Solr 5.5 install

Forgot to say that I am using the xml files for Solr 5.x (from your website).

wpsolr is tested untill Solr 5.2

Solr 5.5 is using dynamic schemas by default, and is not tested.

Yes, I was told the same thing when using your online chat but was instructed to use custom schema on your website. I went ahead with the advise to use your xml files. When I run into trouble again, I was told to open a ticket here.

I am using classic schema in Solr not the “dynamic” (managed) schema.

Solr 5.5 is untested.

I’ll try to spend some time when I can.

One more question, does your plugin work with AWS CloudSearch?

wpsolr works with any Apache Solr, so yes, it should work with AWS CloudSearch (new version).

Just to give you more details from my testing…when I post pages or posts I do get a message “(WPSOLR) Post/page indexed in Solr” but nothing gets transferred over to Solr.

I delivered a new solrconfig.xml, working fine in my local environment.
