Not working with New version of WP

This plugin no longer works within html attributes. I can still insert into a post, but if it is within an attribute it is not working. For example: <p>[php function=1]</p> correctly displays the data. But if I have <input type=”text” value=”[php function=1]” /> it is actually displaying [php function=1] not processing the php function.
