Not working with OceanWP

    Hi,

    OceanWP has a custom excerpts generating functionality. The plugin is not taking effect because the theme is not using the regular WordPress method for excerpt output.

    But there is an option in the theme that disables that and makes the theme use the regular WordPress method. Go to WP admin > Appearance > Customize > Blog > Blog Entries. You’ll see an option called “Excerpt Length”, set that to 500.

    If set to 500 the theme does not use it’s own custom excerpt generating functionality.

    Thank you! I tested it and it does work on blog archives.

    But I was actually trying to get it to work for Product Short Descriptions (WooCommerce installed). Currently, the product archives won’t allow HTML and setting the excerpt length to 500 in customizer doesn’t work. Sorry I should have been clear.
