Not working with other shortcodes

    I’ve built a row in Visual Composer with a mixture of text-boxes and single-images and I want to hide everything but the first introductory text-box.

    No matter what I try, I can’t get Collapse-O-Matic to work when there are other Visual Composer shortcodes within the content that I want to hide. I’ve tried positioning my opening and closing [expand] tags everywhere and this seems to be the common denominator.

    The site is: https://www.limepants.com and the section I am working on is down the bottom underneath the “Why Limepants?” heading.

    Hello! Happy to help you get this sussed out.
    First of all, can you post an example of exactly how you are using the shortcode?
    not the content (the stuff between the expand tags) just the shortcode with all the attributes like:

    [expand title="xxx" yyy="xxx"]...[/expand]

    If you are using other shortcodes within the content, try toggling on/off the filter content setting in the plugin options page under Dashboard > Settings > Collapse-O-Matic > Filter Content.

    Any progress on this, or is this no longer an issue?

    After installing >> edit about us >> added in page [expand title=”trigger text”]hidden content[/expand]

    on publish it show as is. Not expected. Baskerville theme is what I am using

    Please note that I check template of single page and post both are rendering content using the_content()
