Hi, something has gone wrong with my blog that is using the Hueman theme since I upgraded my hosting PHP to 7.3.

When looking at a single blog post only the title and footer is displaying. No other content for the post. Also the text for comments at the bottom is not displaying just the person’s name and date of the comment. I have added a link to an example problem page, but all single post views have the same issue.

    The site is https://wibbi.uk

I have Nimble Builder v1.8.20 and Hueman theme v3.4.29.

I reverted back to PHP 5.6 and that brings the content back. I tried PHP 7.0, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 and with all of those there was the same problem.

I have tried it in Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge and Android phone browser and it is the same on all, so I don’t think it is a browser or cache issue. It seems to me it is an issue with the theme not being compatible with the latest version of PHP.

Please can you advise where to start to fix this. I am going to leave it with PHP 7.3 for the next 24 hours, so that someone who knows about things can see what I am talking about and give some advice.

    Thanks in advance.

I am leaving this up as it was a plugin that seems to have caused the problem, incase anyone else has a similar problem. It does say in the note at the beginning to to check by switching off all of the plugins. But now that I have done that I have messed up some other things from the plugins… sigh!
The plugin that seemed to cause the problem is called ‘WP Code Highlight’. Think it is time for a plugin audit on my site.
