SLB is not working when I run my website through Ezoic – a popular ad management platform.

When I bypass Ezoic, it works fine, but something breaks when going through them. They cannot figure it out either.

    Thank you for any help

Hi, it appears that Ezoic is adding a bunch of extra data to the lightbox’s layout (36KB vs 0.8KB) when it is loaded by SLB. This extra data (HTML, JS files, CSS styles, etc.) invalidates the layout, so it cannot be used by SLB.

Does Ezoic provide any way to exclude certain files/paths from this additional processing? If so, excluding SLB’s files from modification should allow the original lightbox layout to be loaded and used as designed.

Thank you for that! I asked them about it and they said “Is there a list of URLs, or a directory if they’re under the same directory, that need to be excluded from our processing?”

    Thanks

Hi, you would want to exclude files/folders in SLB’s directory– wp-content/plugins/simple-lightbox by default, but may be different based on your site’s configuration.

You may also want to consider excluding all files in the plugins directory to avoid unnecessary processing by the ad server and potential issues in the future with other plugins.

We excluded all scripts in the SLB directory and it works now. Thank you for your help!
