Thanks for the amazing plugin. I would kindly ask you to help me with my problem with the latest Elementor.

I have a website fully in cyrillic. However, there seems to be a problem with the latest Elementor.

Concretely, the css that Elementor generates for the main menu contains the following:

    data-settings="{"layout":"horizontal","submenu_icon":{"value":"<i class=\"fas fa-caret-down\"><\/i>","library":"fa-solid"},"toggle":"burger"}"

In cyrillic, this gets broken into:
    data-settings="{"layout":"horizontal","submenu_icon":{"value":"<i class=\"fas fa-caret-down\"><\/i>
    and
    ","library":"fa-solid"},"toggle":"burger"}"

or something similar, causing the whole Elementor page to break.

Can you please try to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

What is this widget (element)? Is this premium or free?

Do you translate from Latin to Cyrillic or from Cyrillic to Latin? What is the initial letter?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ivijan-Stefan,

I am using Elementor Pro. The widget where this happens is the standard Menu Widget in Elementor.

The initial letter is cyrillic and we always transliterate from cyrillic to latin.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Ivijan-Stefan for the update.

Unfortunately, it still has the same problem.

Here is the screenshot of the page source in both cyrillic and latin. As can be seen in the screenshots, the latin version produces correct source code, whereas the cyrillic version breaks the source code. This happens even though the site is originally written in cyrillic and translates from cyrillic to latin.

    Let’s configure your plugin.

View the screenshot and adjust it identically as you see, only keep in mind to choose proper language scheme (for me is Serbian):

Also try to clear cache on your side and let me know.

    Thanks Ivijan-Stefan!

The only problem with the configuration you sent is that the “Advanced Mode (content, widgets…)” is not translating everything, so I have to use the “Forced Transliteration (everything)” and then the same problem occurs.

So, with the Advanced Mode – I don’t have this problem but it’s not translating everything. With the Forced Transliteration – it’s translating everyhthing, but this problem still occurs.

I hope it can be resolved because I really like your plugin and would like to continue using it!

    Cheers,
    Marko
