Not working with themes that use AJAX add to cart

    When using this extension with any theme that uses AJAX add to cart, the customer always gets an error Variation not working – The selected product isn’t a variation. The plugin only works if you disable the AJAX add to cart functionality in your theme or other plugins. But disabling AJAX leads to a bad customer experience and slow reloading of the product page after adding product into cart. This is especially extremely slow if the variation is very complex.

    This issue could be solved by making this plugin compatible with AJAX

    Thank you for reaching out!

    Currently, WooCommerce core doesn’t support AJAX Add to Cart buttons on the single product page. It only supports AJAX Add to Cart buttons in Catalog pages.

    Specific themes/plugins introduce custom AJAX Add to Cart functionality in the single product page. However, since WooCommerce core doesn’t provide a default way of offering this functionality, each plugin/theme has its own implementation. The Variation Bundles mini-extension can’t integrate with all AJAX Add to Cart implementations that are available.

    If this functionality is added to WooCommerce core, we’d be happy to revisit this request!
