• I am using the Ultimate Member plugin with the extension User Photos. These photos do go into the year/month server folders but are not processed to be shown in the media library, despite them being in the same server directory.

I am pretty sure it is an Ultimate Member User Photos extension issue, but just wanted to check if I can get it to work via your help.

    Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us! The TinyPNG plugin is designed to scan the Media Library for images that can be compressed. If the images don’t show up in the Media Library at all, the plugin won’t be able to compress them.

However, if the images are first uploaded to the Media Library and then moved to a different location using the Ultimate Member plugin, you can set up the plugin to compress the images during the upload process. Keep in mind that if this method works, there won’t be any compression details available because the images will be moved after being uploaded. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that this will work since we haven’t had any experience with the Ultimate Member plugin. But it’s definitely worth a try!

If you’re still having trouble getting the TinyPNG plugin to work with the Ultimate Member plugin, you can always use the web interface at tinypng.com to compress your images before uploading them to your website.

    Hope this helps!
