not working with water lily theme

I’m not sure why the plugin and theme aren’t playing well together.
It seems a bit random.
The plugin also messes up Simone, which is a very well coded theme.

I tried it with Fukasawa and it seems to work.
This theme is very similar to water lily. Could be a good alternative for you.

yeah I turned off all plugins of course so no conflict there, it’s the theme for sure. I’ll try Fukasawa, thanks!

I’m using wp user frontend on another site using the new twenty fifteen theme, it works, but it’s odd because the over-ride-post-edit-link setting(for editing posts from the front)also applies to pages. If I click the link, it opens the page in the WPUF post edit page. Then, the existing content for the page becomes re-added and is duplicated, so 2 of everything! And I can’t find a way to reverse it, I had to delete and redo that page.

I’m a bit nervous about a plugin that messes with existing content..

Okay the duplicate content was my bad, I had some custom fields causing that. I forgot they remain in the post, even after disabling the plugin, and that I still had code to get those fields in the template..

Otherwise I discovered wpufe also appears to have the same conflict in the Fifteen theme.

Also having the same issue with the theme Flato, it just won’t work, even simple text posts without an image.
Oddly, there are NO errors logged into my apache error log, for the failures to post.

(I know my answer doesn’t bring much to the topic, I’m NOT asking for help, but maybe other persons with the Flato theme will be grateful, one day, to stumble upon this page after a web search : it’s not compatible, period.)
