Hi! I have installed the plugin and played around with it for 2-3 days now and for some reason the emails are not sending. WooCommerce is built into my theme by default and the only time I have “products” showing are after someone books. Is there a way to still integrate WCEPP into my website? I am at a loss with it because I really need to send specific emails based on what product is ordered, yet I’m not sure if I can do it with the way my theme was built.

    Thank you!

    Hi @colbygardner,

This plugin was developed to add content inside the default emails for the “product” custom post type.

I believe the custom integration of WooCommerce in your Theme forces you to use the “Tour” custom post type. Because of this, the Theme might also override how those emails are handled, which may cancel out the functionality of my plugin.

Have you confirmed if the plugin works when you switch themes?

Alex, do you mean that in “Products” I should select “Tour” under the dropdown menu for Product Data? When I try to select “Tour” and save it, it always reverts to “Simple Product”. Hmm…

By the way, thank you for being so quick to reply!

    Hi @colbygardner,

I mean the type of products you create with this Theme are saved as “Tour” items because of how the Theme customizes WooCommerce.

My plugin is designed to work with “Product” items that are created with the default version of WooCommerce.

I’m sorry but at this time my plugin won’t be able to work with the “Tour” custom post type defined in your Theme. Perhaps there is a paid plugin which can satisfy your needs?

Good luck and thanks for trying out the Woo Custom Emails Per Product plugin!

Ahh… I understand! Thank you so much for your quick responses and your help! I will continue to keep an eye open for my best option, yet I haven’t found one yet.

    Thank you!
